(Monthly Classes) Ages 2,3 & 4-5

 

Wiggle Giggle & Grow:Ages 2-3 years old. (1/2 hour class. $30/mo.)

We invite you & your child to come tumble and play with us in this class each week there will be a new enchanted theme. We will supply props and costumes. Please bring your favorite stuffed animal to join in on the fun & get ready to stretch your bodies and your imaginations!

 

Music for Munchkins: Ages 2-3 years old. (1/2 hour class. ($30/mo.)

In this class your child will explore the magical music of nursery ryhmes and lullabies. Here they will begin to discover their little voices. We will sing, move, and learn how to play basic instruments.

 

Dance on Broadway I: Ages 3-4 years old. (45 min class $45/month)

This is an introductory class designed for the young dancer. Basic jazz, theater, and tap movement are introduced, as well as the creative exploration of music and spacial awareness. Dancers will need to purchase a black leotard, pink tights, tap & jazz shoes.

 

Act It Out: Fairytales: Ages 4-5 years old. (1 hour class. ($60/mo.)

Come and discover a new fairytale with us each week! In 'Fairytales' class we will learn new stories, act out these tales, and expand our imaginations! Feel free to bring your favorite Fairytale into class. 
 

Disney Tunes: Ages 4-5 years old. (1 hour class. $60/mo.)

In Disney Tunes your child will sing along to his or her favorite Disney songs! Your child will also learn basic pop vocal technique to carry out these tiny tunes. From the new and emerging Disney Songs to the Classics, your child will have the opportunity to sing their hearts out in a group setting. Feel free to bring your favorite stuffed animal or toy so they can sing along too!

 

 

 

 

 

(Semester Classes) Ages 5,6-8, 9-12, & 13-18

 

Dance On Broadway II: Ages 5-6 years old. (1 hour class.)

This dance class is designed for young dancers. Students will learn basic jazz, theater, and tap choreography. Dancers will need to purchase a black leotard, black tights, tap & jazz shoes.

 

Basics of Acting: 6-8 years old. (1 hour class)

In Acting 1 your child will learn the basics of Acting and how to apply those skills to scenes! There will be a lot of fun Inprov and training that will prepare your child to take on a role and make choices on the spot!

 

Acting 1: 9-12 years old. (1 hour class)

Students work on basic acting skills such as developing the ability to produce free, imaginative, and purposeful behavior in relation to environments, objects, and other persons; individual silent exercises; and group exercises. This work leads to in-class performances of selected scenes from a variety of American contemporary plays with special focus given to the sensory requirements in the text. No previous experience is required.

 

Monologue Study: 13-18 years old. ( 1 hour class)

In this class you will apply various styles and memorization techniques for different monologues. Learn how to connect with multiple characters and portray them accurately. This class is great for those who need audition material or are just looking to have some fun!

 

Acting & Improvisation: 9-12 years old. (1 hour class) Improvisation develops the faculties of invention, imagination and concentration and at the same time gives the actor a sense of freedom. This class explores different "on the spot" techniques that are key for actors.

 

Scene Study: 13-18 years old. (1 hour class) Scene Study is an intensive class that focuses on how characters interact with one another within a scene. Your child will memorize and develop different scenes throughout the session.

 

How to Auditon: Acting With Sides:  All Ages (1 hour class) This class prepares your child for auditioning with monologues or scenes that are picked out by the auditioner! This class will explore how to make strong acting choices and build self-confidence with material that you haven't had the opportunity to rehearse.

 

Theatre Dance 1: 6-8 years old. (1 hour class) This class explores the popular dance styles and choreoghraphy of Broadway at a basic to Beginners level. Come and learn dances from your favorite musicals and develop your technique!

 

Theatre Dance 2: 9-12 years old. (1 hour class)  This class explores the popular dance styles and choreoghraphy of Broadway at an Intermediate level. Come and learn dances from your favorite musicals and develop your technique!

 

Theatre Dance 3: 13-18 years old. (1 hour class) This class explores the popular dance styles and choreophraphy of Broadway at an Advanced level. Come and learn dances from your favorite musicals and develop your technique!

 

Theatre-Pop Dance: 13-18 years old. (1 hour class) This class explores the popular styles of Broadway while intertwining the popular styles of pop and hip hop dance. Come and learn your favorite dances from Broadway musicals while adding new street style elements!

 

Dance Fitness Class: 18+ Come and get your groove on while getting in your daily cardio! This course will use various genres of dance in a fun upbeat atmosphere with the perfect music to pump up your energy. Come and break a sweat while having a blast!

 

How to Audition: Dance:  All Ages (1 hour class) This Dance Audition class will give your child the confidence, stage presence, and techniques to get comfortable learning routines on the spot just like in the dance audition atmosphere. Come and develop your personal style while learning how to audition for a role.

 

Voice & Music 1: 6-8 years old. (1 hour class) Voice 1 is a Beginner class for your child. He/she will be introduced to the basics of singing, breathing, articulation & projection. Your child will also explore solfege, harmonic & rhythmic dictation, ear training, and basic music theory. Students will gain a better overall understanding of music & become a more aware & confident performer.

 

Voice & Music 2: 9-12 years old. (1 hour class) Voice 2 is an intermediate class for your child. He/she will be introduced to the basics of singing, breathing, projection, and articulation. Your child will also explore solfege, harmonic & rhythmic dictation, ear training, and basic music theory. Students will gain a better overall understanding of music & become a more aware & confident performer.

 

Voice & Music 3: 13-18 years old. (1 hour class) Voice 3 is an advanced class for your child. He/she will be introduced to the basics of singing, breathing, projection, and articulation. Your child will also explore solfege, harmonic & rhythmic dictation, ear training, and basic music theory. Students will gain a better overall understanding of music & become a more aware & confident performer.

 

Singing For The Stage 1: 9-12 years old (1 hour class)

This class will teach you how to maintain your stage presence in a theatrical entertaining fashion. Whether it be a Broadway piece, art song, or a pop composition (your instructor will decide your pieces with you together), you will discover your comfort zone on stage where you are focused and relaxed, to present a truly engaging performance for your audience.

 

Singing For The Stage 2: 13-18 years old (1 hour class)

This class for teens will teach you how to maintain your stage presence in a theatrical entertaining fashion. Whether it be a Broadway piece, a classical Aria, or a Pop song (your instructor will decide your pieces with you together), you will learn how to master being comfortable on stage and present a truly engaging performance for your audience

 

Chorale I: 9-12 years old. (1 hour class) In Chorale your child will be singing in a group learning modern, classical and contemporary selections. They will also learn exciting 2 to 3 part harmony pieces in a mixed choir setting all the while learning how to sing as a unified voice.

 

Chorale II: 13-18 years old. (1 hour class)

In Chorale your child will be singing in a group learning modern, classical and contemporary selections. They will also learn exciting and more complex 3 to 6 part harmony pieces in a mixed choir setting all the while learning how to sing as one unified voice.

 

Pop-Capella I :  9-13 years old. (1 hour class)

Come and learn to sing all original renditions of music in a choral setting! In this class we will perform accapella (without instruments/music) in 2-3 part harmonies adding our own beat box, percussions, scatting and rhythms using our bodies and voices. Here we convert various types of music into our own pop style arrangements.

 

Pop-Capella 2: 14-18 years old. (1 hour class)

Come and learn to sing all original renditions of music in a choral setting! In this class we will perform accapella (without instruments/music) in 3-5 part harmonies adding our own beat box, percussions, scatting and rhythms using our bodies and voices. Here we convert various types of music into our own pop style arrangements.

 

How to Audition: Voice and Performance: All Ages (1 hour class)

This course focuses on telling the story in your audition song, and how to present yourself when performing before a panel. Come and learn the tools and secrets used by Broadway professionals to help you stand out from others and knock your audition right out of the park! You will gain self confidence and conviction to book the role that you desire.

 

**Spotlight Musical Theatre Company** 4-14 years old (3 hour class)

In this program, a play with be chosen and performed at the end of the semester. Here, your child will have the opportunity to develop their musical theatre performance skills and stage presence. He/she will receive acting, voice and dance training skills. No prior experience necessary. We hope to see you in the spotlight!

 

 

 

All Ages

*Private Lessons: ($45/30)

These are all available upon request for the students who desires 1 on 1 instruction to further his/her skills in singing, acting, or dancing. Private lessons run an hour for children ages 7 and up, 6 years old and under run for a 1/2 hour session. This can help you prepare for a specific audition and allow you to have time with your instructor solely focused on you and personalized to your exact level of talent. We recommend these for students who have up and coming performances such as school plays,choir solos, Junior/Senior All-County Auditions, NYSSMA Auditions, outside of school performances/talent shows, etc.
